Following the Prime Ministers announcement on Monday 23rd March,  Covers decided to close. We will remain closed to protect the wellbeing of our customers, staff and the local communities we serve.

We will be in contact in due course if you have outstanding deliveries.

We will review Government advice for our sector as it emerges and keep you informed of our status via social media and on our website.

If you have a specific urgent enquiry for product required to immediately assist with the NHS or the Care sector, whilst we have very limited staff capabilities, do email us on and we will try and do our best to help.

We'd like to thank you for your continued support and we wish everyone all the best during this crisis.

Our Procedures

  • Our priority is the health and well-being of our colleagues, customers, and local communities, and we’re committed to supporting you and your business. Covers have made the decision to close from Tuesday 24th March until further notice. We will update you with any changes to this on our social media channels and on our website.


  • As of 24th March Covers have closed. This includes deliveries being made. If you have an outstanding order with us we will be in contact.

  • As the business is now closed from 24th March 2020 until further notice, we are not able to take web orders. We will be in contact if you have any outstanding orders with us, and we will keep you up to date on our social media and our website if anything changes.

Why have you temporarily closed your depots?

Following the Government Directive, we’ll be helping to control the spread of COVID-19 by closing our depots and ceasing online ordering. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to welcoming you back into our depots and ordering online soon.

Do you know when depots will reopen? (Collection/Delivery)

We are regularly reviewing our operations, to ensure our colleagues and customers are kept informed. To keep up-to-date with the latest information please revisit this page for updates and follow our social media channels.

Can I still open a trade account?

Yes, you can still apply for a Credit, Depot, Trade & DIY card. Please click here. However, there will be a delay due to the temporary closure of Covers.

Can I still come and collect my orders that I have placed?

No. Depots are not currently open for collections. We will get in touch with you when available to do so to arrange your collections. Please refer to our website for updates on depot re-openings.

I'm unable to collect my order, can someone else collect it instead?

All depots are currently closed. Please refer to our website for updates on depot re-openings.

Will you still deliver orders?

As soon as depots are able to open we will contact you to confirm delivery availability.

How much will delivery cost?

There will be no change to the cost of your delivery, as per the terms found on your order, for online deliveries these can be found here.
