Six employees from Covers Timber & Builders Merchants in Chichester are celebrating a combined 205 years of service at the company.

The timber and builders’ merchant, which is based on Quarry Lane, has rewarded eight of its staff for reaching their 30, 40 and 45 year anniversaries at the business.

Calvin Smith, Peter Byrne, Sean Clarke and Nina Botting have each worked 30 years at the business, with Mark Janman and Adrian Turner having achieved 40 and 45 years respectively. To celebrate their achievement, they were each presented with a gift for their loyalty by Covers’ Managing Director, Henry Green. He said:

“Congratulations to Calvin, Peter, Sean, Nina, Mark and Adrian on this incredible milestone. It’s a great achievement and a testament to the incredible staff we have here at Covers. The hard work and determination these individuals have brought to the business have contributed significantly to its success.”
