Staff at the Aldershot branch of Covers Timber and Builders Merchants have raised £471 for local hospices following a charity cyclathon at Farnham Maltings organised by the Rotary Club of Farnham.

Peter Bridge, Dom Woods, Bradley Aris and Richard Haigh made up the team called Covers Return. The foursome cycled over 26km, finishing in ninth position out of 34.

Caroline Taylor, Depot Manager at Covers Aldershot, said:

“At Covers we are always keen to support community events and charities so we were delighted to take part in the cyclathon. Congratulations to the whole team – they did a great job on the day.”

All funds raised will be donated to charities including Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care, End Polio Now and Step-by-Step.
