The team at Covers Timber & Builders Merchants has raised £192 for five hospice charities after taking part in Christmas Jumper Day.

The staff at the company got into the festive spirit by wearing an array of seasonally inspired sweaters and jumpers in return for donations to the charity.

The hospices to benefit from the funding are St Wilfrid’s in Chichester, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care in Farnham, The Martlets in Hove, St Peter & St James Hospice in Lewes and Rowans Hospice in Waterlooville.

Henry Green, Managing Director of Covers, said:

“We are delighted to be continuing our support of our local hospices and further boosting the funding we have donated to hospice charities over the last few years. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those who are experiencing illness and we hope our latest donation will further support the important work that the charities are doing for our communities.”
