Covers reaches finals of trade awards 2020

Covers Timber and Builders Merchants has reached the finals in seven categories of the BMJ Industry Awards 2020.

Organised by the Builders Merchants Journal, the awards aim to celebrate the UK merchanting industry and highlight the businesses, brands and people that make the sector so successful.

This is the third consecutive year that Covers has reached the finals, the winners of which are decided by votes from across the industry.

Covers, which has been operating for over 170 years, has been named as a finalist in the following categories: Multiple Merchant of the Year, Timber Merchant of the Year, Merchant Showroom of the Year, Merchant Kitchen & Bathroom Showroom of the Year and Merchant Marketing Campaign of the Year. Employee Daniel Rayment, who works in the timber mill at the Covers Chichester depot, is also a finalist in both the Independent Rising Star of the Year and Apprentice/Trainee of the Year categories.

Henry Green, Managing Director at Covers, said:

“We are delighted to once again be shortlisted for these awards. It’s always wonderful to be recognised for our achievements and dedication to supplying high quality products and exceptional customer service. We look forward to finding out who the winners are and hope that we can celebrate their accomplishments very soon.”

The BMJ Awards’ live ceremony to announce the winners has been cancelled for 2020 and will instead be held via live stream on Friday 17th July.
