This top-grade Spanish natural slate has a smooth surface texture and consistent thickness. The Duquesa roof slate is renowned for its light grey colour, uniform appearance, regular surface texture and absence of unstable inclusions. These characteristics make for a stable, long-lasting roof covering. Duquesa slate has a normal texture based on BS EN 12326 classifications and a consistent thickness, between 4-6mm, which will help create an even-looking roof slope. The UK's best known Spanish standard slate, the Duquesa has been brought into the country by Cembrit for the past 20 years and this will continue for many years to come. If laid correctly to BS 5534, the Duquesa slate will last the same lifespan as the building itself and is seen as the ideal product for major projects such as schools, supermarkets.
